About Us

Mark Bilello, DDS, is a dental office at 399 Bayou Gardens Blvd in Houma, Louisiana. Dr. Mark Bilello cares for patients of all ages, children and adults. His approach is ultra-conservative and biomimetic (repairs that keep as much natural tooth as possible). In practice, that means we recommend only the dental work you need, we look for small problems early, and we encourage second opinions. We are accepting new patients.

Meet Dr. Mark Bilello

Dr. Bilello owns and leads Mark Bilello, DDS. He focuses on ultra-conservative, biomimetic dentistry, and he studied at LSU School of Dentistry.

He has also completed advanced training at:

• Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education
• Frank Spear Mastery Workshops, Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education

He uses that training in everyday care, from checkups and fillings to crowns, dentures and cosmetic work.

How we care for you

We recommend only the dental work you need, and you are welcome to ask why. Our goal is to catch small issues early and keep treatment to what is necessary.

We also encourage second opinions. If you have been told elsewhere that you need a lot of work, you can ask us to take a look. If we suggest treatment, you are free to get another view before you decide.

Questions are welcome at every step. Your first visit includes:

1. A friendly check-in and a review of your health
2. A full oral exam with digital X-rays
3. A treatment plan made for you
4. Time to answer your questions and concerns
5. A talk about your insurance benefits and payment options

If dental visits make you nervous, tell us. Along with numbing shots, we offer laughing gas (nitrous oxide) and other ways to help you feel calm. You can read more on our patient comfort page.

Technology we use

Here is what you may see at your visit, in plain words:

• Digital X-rays: pictures of your teeth saved digitally instead of on film.
• DIAGNOdent: a laser tool that helps Dr. Bilello find decay early.
• iTero: a digital scanner that records the shape of your teeth, used when planning Invisalign treatment.
• Soft-tissue laser: used to reshape gum tissue during gum contouring.
• Digital Smile Design: a way to preview a planned smile before cosmetic work begins.

Visiting our Houma office

Our office is at 399 Bayou Gardens Blvd., Houma, LA 70364. We are open Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 3 PM, and closed Friday through Sunday.

For your first visit, please bring:

• Your ID
• Your insurance card
• Any recent dental records

You can download our new patient forms online or fill them out at the office. We will go over your insurance benefits with you, and third-party financing is available through CareCredit.
